Winters secure prestigious project at the The ShardMonday 24th November 2014
Winters have secured the electrical design and build contract to fit out 3 floors of the Shard as a Day Hospital that will cover the 4th, 5th and 6th Floors
The Shard, London Bridge, is an 87-storey skyscraper in London that forms part of the London Bridge Quarter development. The Shard's construction began in March 2009; it was topped out on 30 March 2012 and inaugurated on 5 July 2012. Practical completion was achieved in November 2012. Its privately operated observation deck, Standing approximately 309 metres (1,014 ft) high, the Shard is currently the tallest building in the European Union.
Winters Contract is worth electrically between £1.5 and £2.4 million dependant on the final design requirements. The final facillity will include for two MRI Scanners one CT scanner, two x-ray rooms, exercise suite and consultancy rooms.«Back to News Listing
