Scope of Works
Formation of new Outpatients Department
Works undertaken were to form a new Outpatients Department comprising clinical areas established within the former ground floor office accommodation & a new glazed Reception & Waiting Area. The works comprised the strip out & removal of redundant electrical services, & the supply & installation of new main switchgear & supply cables, new sub-mains cabling & distribution boards, lighting & emergency lighting (including lighting management controls), small power, new fire alarm system, Cat 5e data installation, mechanical wiring, nurse call & disabled alarms, public address system, CCTV, access & intruder alarm systems. During the course of the works the surrounding medical departments & residential accommodation remained fully operational, & all of their relevant services (including fire detection & warning systems) had to be suitably maintained.
