Scope of Works
Fire Alarm modifications, additions & alterations, along with periodic maintenance
Works include the maintenance & repair of existing fire alarm & emergency lighting installations, along with the design & installation of new stand-alone fire alarm systems to individual buildings & enclosures. Thus far we have worked within the following areas; Aquarium; Reptile House; Tropical Bird House; Gorilla Kingdom; the Clore Rainforest; Into Africa Giraffe House; Pavilion; Animal Hospital; into which we have installed various different analogue & conventional addressable systems. The works can be quite involved, but the key factor to the installations is programme, as often the zoo has to re-house the animals for the duration of the works, which is a costly & logistically difficult exercise. As part of the working relationship we are building with ZSL, we are now undertaking works at both London Zoo & Whipsnade Zoo.
