The New Interactive Gallery
Winters were responsible for the design and fitout of the newly fitted Interactive Gallery at the Science Museum.
The work included the design, supply, delivery, installation, testing and commissioning of the complete LV distribution network including all the distribution boards, the sub-main cabling and final circuits. This included the lighting and power supplies to the exhibits and demonstration, and show areas. This included EPO (Emergency Power Off) and time clock switch facilities, complete with override provision. Emergency lighting from a central battery system was also included, and lighting control via a Phillips Dynalite system. There were disabled facilities and induction loop systems that were also included within the electrical design, and Winters were also responsible for the CDP element of the Fire Alarm and PAVA systems interfacing with the main system.
